24 Jun Reading Up on Shakeology Can Help You Slim Down for Your Next Conference
I remember going to my first marketing conference and it was murder. It really was. Regardless of how much data came out of my mouth, regardless of how many results I pointed to, people didn’t seem interested. It seemed like they couldn’t be bothered.
Well, for the life of me, I couldn’t quite figure out what went wrong. I was trying to understand why, despite all the success I was talking about and despite all the proof that I brought with me, nothing seemed to stick.
I was just so caught up in the whole process of trying to impress people at the right time to get the right outcome that I wasn’t paying attention. You know where I dropped the ball? You know where I screwed up? Let’s start at the beginning.
I came to the conference overweight. I hate to say, but when we were kids, we were told never to judge a book by its cover. Well, that’s the kind of stuff you tell kids. That’s the kind of stuff you say to children because that’s the way you wish the world operated, but we know that this is the real world.
In the real world, people do judge you by your looks. Yes. People do judge books by their cover and if you have a few extra pounds or you’re walking around with that nasty spare tire around your midsection, prepare to be judged. In fact, behavioral psychology studies bear this out. When people join some sort of organization, they are judged quite a bit based on how they look. People truly believe that birds of a feather flock together. This is why they are very sensitive to how their peers look. They want to only be associated or ‘flocked” with people who make them look good.
Of course, people will not step up to you and say this to your face. They’re not all that obvious, but believe me, it’s going to have an impact. It’s definitely going to play into whether people consider you credible, authoritative, and worth believing.
This is why I wish I read up on shakeology. Seriously, if I learned about shakeology and its tremendous weight loss promises, maybe I could’ve slimmed down for that conference and have gotten better results.
Maybe I would’ve been more credible. Maybe I would’ve been more presentable. Maybe I would’ve made a better impact because I met people’s expectation. Do you see how this works?
Shakeology is amazing because by loading up on protein, you increase the amount of lean calories you take in while cutting out other calories. This makes you feel fuller for a longer period of time and you lose weight. That’s how it works.
